I am employee of company 'A' on H1 status.
My future employer filed I-485 and we obtained AP and EAD on behalf of company 'B'.
Question 1: I want to know is it valid to use AP provided through Company 'B' where as I am employee of Company 'A' still? Is it legally allowed?
Question 2: At the port of entry will they question me who is my employer? can I say I am employee of Company 'A' and Company 'B' is my future employer and obtained these EAD and AP.
Question 3: What documents we need to keep while entering USA on AP
Question 4: To be on safer side, if I stay back here in USA and if my wife and son who are on H4, go and come back to USA on Advance Parole provided by company 'B', will it be easy? My future employer is not providing any letter regarding me, as I did not still join company ‘B’.
They will be on parole status and I will be on H1 still. My H1 will be renewed next year Feb 2009 by company 'A'.
Please advice.

If you have valid unexpired AP, that what you need to have (in addition to the passport) to re-enter the US. Immigration does not care if you are working with A, B or even C. You will be asked what are you doing in USA just till them any company name even if it is not exists, 99.999999999% will let you in. AP is your application unlike the I-140 which is your employer application.

Thanks a lot to mmed. Before entering USA in the flight itself, we will be given an IMMIGRATION form to fill up to give all our details. In that form, can they write the status as 'H4' or they should write as 'EAD' as they are re entering on AP. Your reply will be very helpful. Regards, balaji777
