Dear All,

I need some help from people who has the below experience...

Both parants are Green card holders for the past 5 years. My Wife visited India when she was pregnent and gave birth to my baby in India only due to some complexity who is now 3 months old now. I am planning to take both mother and baby back to USA. Do I need to apply for any VISA for my baby before I fly?

Please give me some help / information ASAP...

Thanks,
yg

If this would be the mothers first trip back to the states after having the baby, she/you does not need a visa for the baby. The baby will automatically become a permanent resident at the airport when you return.

but you should get a transportation letter for the child at the US consulate. Some airlines will not let the child board the plane without proof that he/she will be allowed in the US.
