US Entry

I was fingerprinted entering the U.S two years ago and I overstayed up until last month. However when leaving I was not asked for the Green Slip which I filled out when I entered. Is there any chance I could get back into the States without much trouble? Any help would be great.

You are most likely flagged as an overstayer. Please don't return to the US since you have clearly demonstrated that you do not respect the immigration regulations of a country that granted you the privilege to visit.

If you did not return the I-94 when you left, you are assumed to still be in the US. Your visa is now void. If you try to enter again, I am 99.9% sure you will be denied entry and immediately returned to your country of origin.

what if someone forgot if he/she has surrendered the i94 the last visit in US? then enter US after 2 years of not being aware of the i94 (unknown if submitted or not and its missing)? is this goin to be a problem or he/she can just truthfully say that he/she cannot recall the situation but has a stamp in his/her passport from the date they left US.

As long as they can prove to and satisfy the officer at the POE that they indeed left before their I-94 expired, they should be good.
