Our Situation:
We got our GC on Nov 2007. We have been in US since then. We plan to go back to India by June 2011.
The Question:
Since we would have completed 30 month stay in US by June 2011, can we do the following:
(i) Move back to India on June 2011
(ii) Continue to travel to US 3 times/year until we complete 4 years and 9 months milestone
(iii) File for US Citizenship after we complete 4 years 9 months milestone on LPR
(iv) Travel to US for fingerprinting & interviews
(v) Finally travel to US for oath, apply for US passport and obtain OCI before heading back to India

Do we have to maintain an active address in US during the tenure of the plan?
Please review this plan and advise. If you have personal experience executing similar plan, please direct me to your post or post replies.

If you move back to India in 2011 you will break continuous residency. Simply traveling back to US 3 times a year is not sufficient to maintain US residency ties. Foremost, you need to maintain a primary abode in the US (among other things) to retain continuous residency.
 
I don't think it will work. USCIS will deny the application and possibly revoke your green card when they find out you have moved residence abroad, in particular if you have a job abroad.
