I completed my swearing-in ceremony this morning and am officially an American. My 14 years of immigration ordeal is finally ended. I am ecstatic. I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all the people on this forum I have "met" over the years. This forum has provided me an incredible support.
People on this forum are incredible generous to share their experiences and knowledge to the members before them.

Good luck to those who will apply or are waiting to become US citizen!!!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I will try my best to answer them.

Hi Osogio,

Thank you.

My N400 application process took exactly 4 months from start to finish and my interview was scheduled before my 5th year cut off. I think the current processing time in NYC is between 4 to 6 months. Federal Plaza has the quickest processing time. Good luck on your application for next year.
