URGENT: Who should sign G-28

i-140 and g-28

My lawyer asked me to sign the G-28.

Although, i am the beneficiary and not the petitioner for my I-140, i signed it.

There is a part on the G-28 that asks if the person signing is petitioner or beneficiary. Therefore, I am guessing either employer or employee can sign.

Any other thoughts

---------------that is OK, lawyer may have also got the G28 signed by employer

I-140 can be filed directly EB1 then no need of employer signature on G28, as it is self-petition
If I-140 is based on LC then employer sign the I-140 and also sign the G28

EB1 OR vs. EA

EB1 EA is self petition but EB1 OR is sponsoerd by employer.

Hence, this question whether petitioner or beneficiary sign the G-28 form

Both petitioner and beneficiary will sign seperate coppies. Because he is representing both of you.
