Urgent! Waiting online for a H1B question

I am preparing for the H1B application. My employer wants me to start in the
middle of Dec. My layer said it is possibly to be denied. He suggested to
start on Nov.1, and he said I can go to work within 6 months from Nov even the start date is Nov.1.

Are there anybody have heard of this? Thank you so much, I am waiting for your reply online....

Did you already filed petition ?
If so, what is the start date ?
Is this change of status from other visa or H1 transfer or other ?

Hi Luckystar17,

You can put the start date as Nov 1 and then go in Mid-Dec.. there are no issues for this. I am assuming that your case is a fresh H1b application.
