Hi
My friend has transfered his H1B from company A to company B. He left to India after USCIS received the documents.

Now H1B is approved for company B and he is travelling back with
1. Visa stamp with active status till December
2. I-797 and I-94 approved documents of H1B (Original Transfer approved notice of company B)

Will he be able to pass the immigration in USA without any problems.
His travel date is tomorrow. Any info or help is greatly appreciated.

* He should be able to enter with his previous employer visa which is valid till december
* Since he has newly approved 797 can present it to the INS officer IF AND ONLY IF asked for his status after december

* Another suggestion : Since Consulate appointments are available with 5 days. He can postpone stay another 2 weeks. Get new stamping come back

Thanks a lot Wallstreetguy. It seems he already started from there and thru with Hyderabad immigration. But I am just worried about his immigration here

---------------if he has valid visa stamp through comany A in his passport he can come back to US and at POE he MUST show valid visa stamp in passport AND H1 transfer approval at POE so that he can get I-94 till his H1 approval notice validity
