URGENT:Police Certificate

Hi all, i'd like to know if one needs a police certificate if one has lived in the US over the past 4 years and is doing CP?

one never needs a police certificate from the US. One does need police certificates from other countries where he/she spent more than a year after turning 16 years old.

To illustrate: if you were 15 when you came to the US and never lived in any other country before your DV interview, you don't need any police certificates.

I didn't know we don't need certficates from US, i got 4 of them anyways for past 8 years. However, before that I had police certificate from my own country(where I resided before coming to US), I am hoping that would suffice, even though it's 8 years old, Ihaven't lived back in my country for more than a month at a time.
