Urgent!! Please help. AP queston

Hi all,
INS issued me an AP renewal on last week, but my A# in the AP is missing the last digit.(other digits are fine). A# column has my receipt number and that is fine also. I need to travel urgently to India and have tickets reserved for November 1st week.
All my other documents like EAD, receipts, old AP all have correct A#. So will there be any problems if I travel with this new AP? I called INS and they said they will issue a new one, but don't know when especially when TSC is the service center.

Suggestions/Advices???Pls help
 
Just carry the 485 receipt to show correct A#. Only the POE inspector is going to notice this. Old AP will also be useful. keep it handy.

mY SON 8 YEAR OLD SON, he left the country without an AP, I have re-appiled for an AP...he didn't get his first AP, will it create problem during his arrival, do they check the date of issue and date of departure

They might, but should not be an issue, since the Parole is effective on the entry date...

I got my Advanced Parole letter from my lawyer in March 2002. The letter has 3 pages: One with photo, the other two have no photo. The paper is just plain copy paper without INS head. I just found my friend has different Advanced Parole letter with INS head, torch symbol. He got it in June. I will travel this Friday. Can you tell me what your Advanced Parole letter look like? Have you used Advanced Parole letter similar to mine to travel before?
