URGENT - Notice for more info for EAD

I am in the EB3 category (RIR)
My PD is Aug 2002
My Labor and I140 is cleared.
My I485 had RD of Dec 30, 2004.

I had applied for a EAD for me and my wife along with the 485.

I received the following automated email today...both for me and my wife.

"we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

Any idea what this might be? I realize that I'll find out soon when I get the notice in the mail. But I had assumed EAD was a no brainer...so spooked a little. My H1 also ends on April 15.

Anyone else recvd a notice like this?

Someone please respond.

Check the following check list :

1. Photos - should meet new requirements
2. Passport - Color Copy all pages
3. Marriage Certificate - Color copy (50-50)
4. DOB - Color copy (50-50)
5. License - Color copy (50-50)
6. etc.,

As far as I know they ask the above docs....

What do you mean color copy (50-50)? is that required to be color copy?

2. Passport - Color Copy all pages( only of first page that has your Photograph, DOB,name they dont need blank pages of passport)
3. Marriage Certificate - Color copy (50-50)( they dont need color copy of Marriage certificate
4. DOB - Color copy (50-50)( they dont need color copy of DOB or birth certificate and it is not requirement to file Birth certificate with EAD or AP)

Notice Clarification

HI

I had the same Additional Info notice on my EAD which is applied in Dec-04.
It was for my signature not fitting into the designated box on the form.

I have signed in the box, & send the form to my attorney .
I hope to get my EAD in next 1 month time frame

What were the LUDs on your EAD and AP ?

I have a LUD (see my signature) ... but no changes after that.

EAD and AP denied for Spouse

I saw LUD changes for my wife EAD and AP lastweek. So, far I do not see any message change. I called customer service this morning and found that ..they denied EAD and AP.

Because I applied 485 twice. When I applied first time my 140 denied. So, I re-applied with different labour all over again. I do not know why the officer looked first applied denied 485 application and denied new EAD and AP application.

So, the officer mentioned she is going to re-order or re-open the application and send it to the QC department for the approval.

My attorney did not receive any letter from USCIS as of today.

What are your views guys please update me...

Just wanted to post an update.

The RFE for my EAD was for color copies of passport bigraphic pages.
