Registered Users (C)
please post your suggestion about the following.

I have I-94 on which i to enter US and it expired in Nov 2002. during my H1 extension I received another I-94 which is not used.
Now do I need to submit both while I travel to India?

(I am planning to enter back on AP as my H1 visa stamp expired as well)
your comments will be appreciated.
Thanks

Does not matter

Submitt the old one when you leave US and come back with AP, as you don't have valid Stamping. You will get new I-94 when you re-enter to US using AP.

Yes submit all I-94 cards to INS . Pls note , when u do extension ur I-94 number remains same. It is your responsabilty to surnder all the I-94 cards(The white card and atleast the latest copy/renewed).Otherwise it will create problem next at the POE of entry

Good luck

thanks. follow up question

I read on this forum that during passport stamping (after 485 approval) people taking all I-94s to INS etc! If I submit I will have only the latest I-94. would that be enough?

I was in your position before.

I surendered only the latest I94 while exiting the US. On my return using AP, I got a new I-94 stating 'Paroled until xx/xx/xxxx'. I surrendered only this new I-94 when I went for stamping.

Hope this helps.
