urgent help - travel to mexico/cancun with GC

friends, i need urgent help. i will be travelling to mexico/cancun for 5 days and wanted to check about visa. I am on GC with Indian Passport and was told that I just need to carry GC and Passport with me and dont need mexico visa, and Passport & GC will be just fine during the reentry in US.

Can someone please confirm this as I am traveling in next couple of days.

This is from the consular website: Foreigner of any country, who is a permanent resident of the United States or Canada, can travel to Mexico without a visa or a consular stamp on the passport. However, you should have with you a valid passport or Travel Document plus the US Resident Alien Card (Green Card) or seal I-555 or Immigrant visa, Permanent Resident Card (Canada).
