urgent help needed.

My wife is on J1 waiver ( J1 waiver, H1B approved) and going to start her job next month.

My I485 is pending approval ( filed in sept 2002, 2nd FP notice received,CSC).

My dumb lawyer thought it would be ok to file for her I485 too, as a spouse.

Now they have withdrawn it,since the terms of J1 waiver prohibit her from filing for AOS for the next 3 years.

Would this in anyway affect her current status OR her future AOS filing?

------- Once you withdraw any petition it means as if it was never filed
Would this in anyway affect her current status OR her future AOS filing?
