Came on a H1 in Jan 2002 for employer A in May 2003 transfered H1 to employer B. during maternity leave my employer terminated me. We r in legal pursuit does this give me a bigger window of opportunity to find a new job?? Can my employer revoke my H1B? If yes what r my options to find a new employer?? Will this still be considered as a transfer? As i am on maternity leave I have no pay stubs since August how will i present my transfer of my H1B.

Any feedback greatly appreciated

Yes, your employer can revoke. If he revokes you can go to H4, if your spouse is here. If no revoking, then find a job and trasfer immediately. Maternity absence is valid reason not having pay stubs. If you get any job you need not worry about transfer time, once transfer application is filed with INS you are in status.

If employer revoked, only option is to get I -20 (Go to community college or Bryman college) they give year around I 20 and apply F1 (Change of status). Mean time if you get any job, again you can change from F to H1. So that you can maintain your status. (Bryman college cost you 4 to 7 K per year)
