Urgent F1 - H4

I got my H4 files (which is effective Oct 1st) before my F1 expires.

Am I out of status during the period ( F1 expires -> H4 effective)?

H4 can be effective upon approved date, not necessarily be Oct 1. So there is no gapp in F1 to H4.

To whom are you dependent for this H4? Who holds H1 at this time, how long it is valid.?
