Urgent:employer Denies To Give I-797

I planning for a trip to india this october.but,my employer denies to give me

I-797 or even the number required to book an appointment in US consultate,india.

is there anything i can do legally......plznzz explain my rights here

call a labor/immigration attorney. See if you can do something about this - it would seem to me as born USC that this is a violation of your rights. However, I am NOT a lawyer and would suggest that you consult an attorney. Call a few of them up and ask if "i have a case against my employer" and they will tell you yes or no - but, get many opinions - some lawyers will say yes just to get you to pay them and you really don't have a case... good luck!

Can you explain why the employer is not giving you H1 approval notice? What is his/her intention? Does he think that once you get visa stamp you will not come to him?
Or he dont want to keep you??
