Urgent: EAD Renewal ?

My first EAD filed in CSC was issued from VSC,
I485 is pending in VSC, I am a resident of CA and
my consulting company is in the East coast. when
I spoke to an IIO, she asked me to send EAD renewal to
CSC since I'm a resident of CA, she says CSC in turn
would route it to Vermont, my Qs are:

1. Should I file in CSC or VSC? wouldn't EAD renewal be faster
if I send my papers directly to VSC?
2. Is it better to file online? If I file online, which service centre
would the papers go to? pls. narrate online filing experience.

------- Why get confused send the package to VSC by post, because for efilng again you have to visit nearest Application Support center for photo
