One has got an I-20 of multiple universities "A", "B", "C" and "D" from Maine, Nebraska, New York and Texas. Got visa stamped on one of them "A".
Before flying to the university "A" whose name is stamped in visa, can the student go to the second university "B" and join admission ?
Maybe it is not advisable but there must be a way of getting it done. I remember it used to be working like that before 9/11.
Anyone if you can shed lights, please pour your thoughts.
Attnys, will that be harmful ? possible? doable? The sole reason for doing so is, the cost of tuition.

why don't you ask your international center?
my understanding is that you need to go to the school for which you got the visa for at least a semester, then you can transfer

If you are still in your country, go to US embassy in your country and apply to change the visa to the school you want to go.
OR do one semester and transfer.
someone did go to another school, but the school may not accept that.

Yes..BUT

Yes, You can change the University even in the first semester BUT it all depends on the Universities... Here not only rules changes from State to State but also from University to University. I experienced the same kinda problem couple of years ago and i think the best way is to contact the respective graduate student advisor / admissions office..
