Urgent : Am I in legal status ?

Here is my situation

My First H1 expired on 7/14/2002
Filed for H1 extension on RD: 6/24/2002

Now my lawyer messed up LCA used the old LCA which expired in Oct 2002 so there were couple of REF in Dec-2002 and Jan-2003

The layer re - applied the LCA on 12/13/2002 stating period of employment as 7/14/2002 to 10/15/2003

But the approved LCA document says its valid from
12/13/2002 - 10/15/2003

also the approved I129 is also has valid from 12/13/2002 - 10/15/2003.

Am I out of staus between 7/14 - 12/13 ?

Is there any way to correct this problem ?

Yes. You can get a new visa stamp from a US consulate and fix this problem. But the risk of rejection (by consulate)is still there.
Other way is to pursue green card and wait till the I485 is approved before venturing out of US

I have already applied for 485 on Apr 1 2003

The only concern I have is as there is no I94 for period between
7/14 - 12/13. and after stamping the new visa above issue remains.

1> Is there a way to correct the time period issue for H1 extn and LCA so that the extension period changes from 12/13/2002 to 7/12/2002 so that I have I94 for all the time frame

2> will this affect my green card application ?
