Updates:Did you file your 140&485 before Sept 30th 2005 retro deadline?

Bad Luck Babbu, even my attorney forgot to keep I 140 payment check, and is trying to fix the problem.No response to email and phone calls from his side.I was thinking yours will get fixed.

EAD aproved, but I-140 not yet aproved

Hi,

Both EAD (myself and wife) got aproved. I got my EAD card. But, my I-140 not yet aproved. Any idea about this one ? Everybody said, my I-140 will get aprove before my EAD got aprove. Please update me ?

I got my AP to my Lawyer who mailed me the next day.

This may sound a very basic question, but I just want to make sure that I am right. If I'm on H1 & spouse on H4 with 485 pending and EAD received, can (only) spouse start working on EAD without me lossing my H1 status ? or if she uses her EAD, do I loose my H1 & her H4 status too?
Can experts please clarify on this?

Thanks for the info gc4eb2. Do AP approvals always go the attorney or do they come to us directly sometimes ? Did anyone else's AP go to the attorney first ?

Yes she can work on EAD and you wont loose your H1 status but she will loose her H4 status. She can always come back to H4 status if your 485 is not approved, provided that you maintained your H1 status.

Today my I-140 is approved and I just saw the approval email. SO relaxed...I will post in the thread, once after I get the approval notice. How long should/will it take?

Hopefully it will not be too long for the I-485 to be approved :)..

I-140 needs more evidence

Hi,

Both my EAD & Travel Document has approved, but I-140, they need some additional evidence. Anybody has this type of issue, please update me.

EB2- AP - 29-Sep-2006 (PERM)
I-485, I-140 Applied on 29-Sep-2006.

FP done - 12/6/2006
EAD, Travel Doc Approved - Jan-14-2006
I-140 => FEB-2-2006, needs more evidence

Finally my I-140 is approved!!

I got the email yesterday evening that the I-140 application got approved on 02/14/2006.

I filed concurrently on 09/30/2005, RD:09/30/2005, ND:10/25/2005, LUD: 12/01/2005.

Please see signature for more details. My PD is August 2005 so now I will just wait for PDs to get current.

Do you know who gets the copies of I-140 approvals

I am thinking of invoking AC-21 to switch jobs sometime soon hopefully.
 
Here is an update on my case..

just wondering if anyone in my kind of situation got similar message..?!

"On February 16, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 850 and 900 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case."

I came to know from USCIS that an RFE has been issued for my 140 application. Is it sent to the company as well as the attorney?
