Can you please share with me as to what the time limit mentioned in the AVM for RFE receipt was?

My details RFE issued 04/24/01, RFE sent on 05/02/01, RFE recd on 05/09/01

For me the AVM stated the following
"On 05/09/01 we recd your RFE......
Since preliminary processing was complete on your application it would take 180 days".

Did you get a similar message?

Just spoked to an IIO today and she told me my case was approved on may 11th. However, the AVM is not updated (checked at 4:45 pm again). Could she be joking? I asked her why, she said the AVM system is being updated right now. But I saw several people are posting their case were approve on 5/14 or 5/15 according AVM. I am confused.

Thank you again!

Finally, I received the approval notice today! I even checked AVM last night, it was not updated.

Also I want to tell you that my company name changed. When the RFE was replied, my company explained the merger situation in the letter. So I am not sure about the company name change cases on hold. Maybe that\'s just one of the excuses that INS used to discourage people to call.
