I'm an attorney handling an asylum case pro bono (without any particular background in immigration law). One of the requirements the judge issued at the master calendar hearing was to obtain updated fingerprints by a certain date. The government attorney gave me the Nebraska Service Center address and I mailed an application for updated fingerprints... and a second application... and a third one... and a fourth. And nothing. Nada. No response. It's been ten months since I sent the first application. What do I do? I've already postponed (received a continuance) re: the merits hearing date once. I need to get these updated fingerprints, but I can't even get through to anyone at USCIS who can answer my questions.
