University Average requirement for TN Visa

A consulting firm recently contacted me for an interview.
However, they told me that due to US Immigration requirement, they require a 73% average.

I was not aware of such requirement.

Could anyone clear this up for me ?

Sound suspiciously like they want to throw you in the H1B pile. If not and they "think" a TN is matched to a grade score then run, run like hell....

The firm wants this average, which is not outside their rights. Personally, I've never had to show my transcript to anyone.

Thay may want it, but it has nothing to do with immigration.
In any event, absolute rubbish. Move on as 'tiger sez.
