Unbelievably Fast Approvals

Unbelievable

I just got this information. One of my friend applied for 140 on JAn 12 th 2005 and the attorneys office received the I-140 approval yesterday. The online case status shows it was approved on Jan 19 th 2005.

My I-140 applied on Dec 30, havent receieved the receipt notice yet?????

Was this EB-2 ,and which category(advanced degree etc.)?
 
It was EB3.

I sent my 140 on Dec 30 2004, ahvent got the reciept notice yet. Did anybody who sent in Last week of december recieve the receipt notice??

I got the receipts and also EAD was approved yesterday. Application was submitted on 29th December.

EB3 - Substitute Labor , 140/485 Concurrent filling . PD. 10/03

I-140/485/765/131 RD:12/29/04 ND: 01/12/05
EAD AD :01/25/05

I wonder why I did not get my I-140 receipt notice yet. I have to check with the attorney.

Where did you send all the applications -- VSC or Chicago Lockbox address? Is it required to send the dependents application to Chicago Lockbox address? I found it on USCIS website http://uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/newsrels/LockBox11_23_04.pdf

AP : RD- 11/17/04 , AD - 11/29/04
EAD: RD- 11/17/04 , RFE ( Passport Photo copies ) on 12/26/04, AD- 1/25/05
485 - ??

I485 Approved, finding it difficult to post a new thread

All,
Just wanted to share with everyone that our I485 got approved this morning. I tried putting in this site but unable to find out how to create a new thread. My details are
EB3 - Concurrent (applied through H1Bjobs.com)
Labor PD 02-2001
I140 - RD - 9/16/2003 AD 12/14/2004
1485 - RD - 9/16/2003 AD 1/27/2005
2 EAD's, that second was applied in mid Oct '04 and got approved in december 04.

I guess The labor was applied in March 2004.

485 approved ...... I-140 still pending

Hi,

I got my I-485 approved ( Sept 2004 ) but my I-140 is still pending. I have got my green card ....... do I need to be worried about the pending I-140 ...... ???

I filed 485 and 140 concurrently on Feb 18th, 2004.

check with your attorney

even if your I-140 status online doesnt reflect approval, it doesnt mean you are not approved. sometimes USCIS forgets to update the online status. check with your attorney if he got the approval notice. also, your company would get a courtesy copy as well.
 
question about retrogression

How is it possible to do a concurrent filing? didn't the dates retrogress for EB3..?

If you look at the post, the RD is 12/29/04. Concurrent filing for EB3 applicants belonging to retrogressed countries was acceptable upto 12/30/04. RD is what matters and not the ND. Visa retrogression came into effect only from 1/1/2005.

Hope this explains.
