UN/Ginnu/Gurus Need your help ASAP

Hello Gurus of Immigration,
I am new to this forum.These forums are very informative and folks like UN/Ginnu and other Gurus are awesome.Need your help badly.My 140 is approved and 485 is pending since 9/2004.Labor filed in Aug'2003. I want to resign my company and start my own company and work for myself.
Can I do that ??? What are my risks ??? Should I file AC21 right now or wait until hear back from USCIS for an RFE etc ???
Also I have seen some threads talking about Yates Memo on AC21 portability to self-employment.That does not look straightforward.
Please give your suggestions and guide me through.

---------------------- I will join new employer who gives permanent job offer with same/similar job and will not take the risk of invoking AC21 with self-employment. we dont have updates of any AC21 cases approved with self-employment at this time. wait for others suggestions or talk to your lawyer
