I sent out the I140 and I485 this August. And I140 was approved.

Now my wife (associate applicant) wants to open a self-employment based company to run a medical clinic. I have consulted the accountants, they told me that the tax return for the company I opened will attach to my personal tax return. I know that INS will check the tax return for the last three years.

Anybody knows how the INS processes the tax return check? This happens after or before I485 approval? Does this process affect I485 process?

What's the problem here? If it's a joint return, it's legal employment income by your spouse. No problem.
