was LC and I-140 for you filed by employer? if Yes you need to work with him for some time AFTER getting GC in same field. if it was self filed I-140 then you need to stick to your field . dont know your full case details.Robin555 said:I have a I-485 that still needs to be approved as an Agronomist. Once I get my Green Card, can I take any type of job or do I need to stay in the Agronomy field.
Thanks!

buzzhd said:it's safe to stay with your sponsor employer for at least six months and one year will be better. Otherwise you will be questioned by USCIS about the motives for getting your gc thru your employer, for which you are not going to work. If your employer files a complaint about that you will be automatically taken back the gc.
