Turned 21 and Family H4 expired need F1

I am currently attending a Unviversity ander an H4 visa that is my father's. I recently just truned 21 and supposedly they had to drop me from the visa. What do I need to do to apply for a F1 visa when i am already enriolled in class for the next term and i am trying not to return to my home coutry if at all possible?

Before it is too late, get an I 20, from your school international office, through an attorney apply for change of status from H4 to F1.

Do it now. If you loose the status, you may have to go back to your home country to get visa stamped. F1 visa rejection is always possibilities.
