Hello,

I have sent several emails to TSC inquiring about my case and everytime they send me same respose that my case is within normal processing time and I just have to wait and some emails was ignored and they never respond to them.

but I have received an email from them yesterday in the email the officer said that he has requested my file and he will send me a request for medical as soon as he receives my file,he also said that I can go to ASC and tell them that my fingerprints are expired and have them take new fingerprints.

I'm happy that I got such a response but I have few inquiries regarding this email.

1) where did he requested my file from,my file supposed to be at TSC?

2) if I go to an ASC without an appointement as the officer suggested will they agree to take my fingerprints? did anyone has similar experience?

thank you

Hi Eagle 80,
1st Step Is That All Petitions Or Applications Go To The Documents Division. From There The Officer Check For Fees And Review Application For Filing Correctness And Then Assigned A Receipt Number To The Customer.

2nd Step Is That Your Application Could Sit There As Long As Untill Picked Or Assigned To An Officer To Work On The Case By A District Supervisor.

You Need An Appointment In Order For Them To Process Your Fingerprint, They Have To Scan Your Appointment Notice, To Bring Your Personal Setting On The Screen, Without It Don't Even Waste Your Time.

Best Luck.

A friend who also emailed TSC was told that her fingerprint has expired and that she needs to retake it. But the officer sent her an appointment letter. Reply back to the Officer and ask him if he/she can mail you a BIO appointment letter (explain that without it you can't take fingerprint).

Good luck!

do you think it's a good sign that the officer said he requested my file, does that mean that he will start working on my application?

I think the office said that I can go to ASC without a letter just to expedite my case, and may be he will send me a letter anyway here is what he exactly said. <<You may also expedite the processing by reporting to the nearest ASC and requesting your fingerprints and photo be submitted the this application>>.

I don't know if I should wait and see if he will send me a bio letter along with the medical letter,or should I email him back making sure that he will send the bio letter.

I just don't wanna bother him/her. she/he seems to be a good officer not like others who used to give me the same stupid answer without even reading my email.

I Think You Are Going To Be Fine.
If Your Application Is Assigned To Him, He Will Have To Work On The Caase.
How Long Is It Going To Take ? Who Knows?
If He Is An Overachiever, He Could Schedule You For Fingerprint, Request For Your Medical, And Finally Approve Your Case Less Than A Month. But They Are Not Outstanding. They Are Slow And Lazy.
Best Luck Anyway.

Hi Eagle80,

In that case, just go and try to get your Bio done. It doesn't hurt to try. If the people at ASC refuse to take you, then email the IO telling him that they didn't let you in. It might help if you take the email to ASC so that you can show them that the IO told you to do that. I have heard of many people on this forum, who went to get their BIO done prior to their actual appointment date. So maybe they will take you.

By the way like themen said, your file sits somewhere until it's assigned to an officer. When it's assigned, they gets processed. So the fact that your file was requested by the officer is a good thing. He can just make a decision once he/she has everything he/she needs. Good luck!

I'm very happy today. Finally , my dream card came in my mail box; still I have hard time believing it happened so fast in just six month. I was granted asylum on Oct 2004, but applied for green card only on oct 2006. I had sent the medical with the original package to Nebraska center. They immediately transfered it to Texas center. On April 8, I got a request for Biographical information, (?form G-24) which I immediately sent back. They updated it on April 22, and within a week, a week , they gave me the approval. I had hard time to believe it , until I got the Green card in my mail today. Guys, cheer up! They are really being too fast on processing. God Bless America and us too.
