Status Changed Apr 28 saying result of your fp blah blah blah
Next touch date was May 4 (same message as above)

No RFE's to date

Great effort Cosmos. Just to let you know -
Cosmos, my 2nd FP done in Jan 2004.

It will be easier if we could edit it online? Can we do that?

Also, all the people who have their touch dates as 5/4/04, is that their first touch date after logging /registering with the system? I think not. I guess the first touch date should be the date when they first registered.

For me/spouse : touch date # 1: 4/8/04 same date from the time we registered.

May I request the recently approved ladies and gentlemen to give us some info by providing the following info:

- First 5 digits of WAC#
WAC-02-092-XXXXX

- RD/ND
01/21/04

- Latest RFE request and responded date
Mar26th (EVL + 3y w2) responded - 2nd Apr2004 , RCD. 04/09/2004

- Latest FP requested and responded date
Jan 2004 and did it in March 2004

- Last updated date (if possible, please provide an audit trail – for example, if the last updated changed after receiving RFE or FP or perhaps internal processing without any status change)

Apr 9th - RFE Recd.
May 6th - Approved.

No activity in between. Recd. an email on May 7th that it is approved.


I am particularly curious about last updated date changing without any status update. How many times does it change? For the recent approvals, how many times did it change?

ZERO fro me.

There has been no change in my/spouse's/kid's touch date so far.

Latest touch: my wife's and my case: 1st FP: 07/19/2002, kid's: receipt notice: 03/04/2002.

Our cases have been touched on 05/20/2004, perhaps owing to the filing of my AC-21 letter.

I also noticed trend, that if RFE comes before 2FP, most likely case
is on the shelf and approval will be delayed until it picked-up again (in my case it is almost 6 month passed since RFE... :mad: ).
In case if 2FP is cleared and waiting for RFE, most likely case is with an officer, waiting for RFE reply and will be adjudicated once RFE response is received.

As you probably realize, the data collection mechanism I am using is pretty unscientific and tedious. I am simply compiling whatever information I can find from different threads.

Data size too small to come up with any useful analysis at this point in time. But I will continue this for some more time to see if we can detect what our CIS friends are upto w.r.t Last Updated Date.

I know some of you think LUD is meaningless. There are others who believe it is useful. Right now, it is anecdotal at best. Only time can prove one or the other group right.

Meanwhile, here is the revised spreadsheet.

Do people feel this thread is useful? If yes, I can start updating the spreadsheet again and post it periodically. I left this thread unattended to concentrate on creating Project Cosmos campaign text.
