Folks,
Here is my situation ... I would appreicate if you don't get judgemental and try to respond with objectivity.
1. GC was applied in AUG 2002 (PD - AUG 1 2002).
2. Labor cleared sometime in 2005 and got 140 approved in end of 2005 (I guess)
3. H1 was extended till 2009 in 2006 (still valid)
4. After all kind of waits (you all know what I mean), finally we applied for AOS in June 2007. Got our EAD and AP real quick.
5. In Jan 2008 joined a startup and invoked AC 21 (after 180 days obviously).
6. In Feb 2008 got a decent offer back home (in HYD) and left US in March 2008.

Now my company wants me to travel to US (for 2-4 weeks) for work.

Question is ... which entry process I should use for keeping the faintest possibility of getting GC at some point?
1. I have a valid AP that I can use
2. I have a valid H1 that I can use (although it might have abandoned as I worked 2 months with EAD).
3. This company should have some Business VISA for short trips.

Thanks in advance

For a short trip to the US, a Business Visa is the best option. Is your visa stamping still valid? In that case you can use H-1 to re-enter.

In any case, since you filed for AOS while residing in the US, your action may be viewed as abandonment of GC application. I would change the AOS to Consular Processing first, in such situation.

Thanks for the responses ...
1. HOW do you change AOS application to Consular processing assuming I have to do it by myself?
2. Is there any downside of entering using AP?
