Yup, I applied in July 2024 and got the RTD in November 2025. And no I didn't do anything to get it, just waited the normal time.Did you get yours? and did you do anything to get it?
Are you going to use it?Yup, I applied in July 2024 and got the RTD in November 2025. And no I didn't do anything to get it, just waited the normal time.
I already used it to travel to Europe and came back in December. Are you going to use it?
Any problem while coming back?I already used it to travel to Europe and came back in December.
I've used twice, August 2025, and December 2025, no issues at all when coming back. I'd say if you have no criminal records of any kind, you will be fine.Any problem while coming back?
I've read that some countries do not accept you if your RTD has less than 6 months validity left.I've used twice, August 2025, and December 2025, no issues at all when coming back. I'd say if you have no criminal records of any kind, you will be fine.
Nope, no problem at all. I was sent to secondary, had to wait for 30 mins (maybe less), and then let go and it was my first trip outside the US! I hope next time they will let me go faster or hopefully my GC gets approved by then lolAny problem while coming back?
No issues, but the country I traveled to (Colombia) supposedly accepts it with a 3month validity period at least, so I made sure my RTD was valid for 3 months before traveling. I have heard there are many countries where you actually need to have 6 months left of validity, so, it’d be good to do some research beforehand.I've read that some countries do not accept you if your RTD has less than 6 months validity left.
Did you encounter any issues like this in December?
For Colombia timatic says this, but I don't know if it's correct:No issues, but the country I traveled to (Colombia) supposedly accepts it with a 3month validity period at least, so I made sure my RTD was valid for 3 months before traveling. I’m not really sure, but that would actually be great!
Latest update was my attempt to expedite 5 months ago completed , then mail saying cannot be processed , then my wife got update saying fingerprints taken January 2026 which was the last update in November 2024 , so it’s fingers crossedI think you're very close. I waited 16 months to get mine.
Has anyone on the 75 list gotten rtd recently ? I am overthinking mail I received saying application cannot be processed, a lawyer say she believes A/R are exempt.Latest update was my attempt to expedite 5 months ago completed , then mail saying cannot be processed , then my wife got update saying fingerprints taken January 2026 which was the last update in November 2024 , so it’s fingers crossed
No advance parole needed for asylees or LPR based on asylum, but the Refugee Travel Document only. I’ve traveled abroad twice using mine.As an asylee or LPR, traveling outside the US requires advance parole for re-entry. Make sure to check with USCIS before booking. For visa options, use porównywarki stron to compare the best travel and visa information.
I think I saw someone on lawfully whose RTD got approved and that person was from one of the 75 countries.Has anyone on the 75 list gotten rtd recently ? I am overthinking mail I received saying application cannot be processed, a lawyer say she believes A/R are exempt.

any problems while re-entering?August 2025, December 2025 and got an upcoming trip abroad next month too.
No problems at all, I was sent to secondary inspection every single time, but officers did clarify that they needed to do this, in order to stamp the right seal on my RTD. The only questions were, where did you go, and for how long, that's it.any problems while re-entering?
