I am a Chinese national with a valid H-1B visa. My job requires me to travel abroad a lot. My company lawyer told me that I can only get 3-month 2-entry visa
1) for the country I want to travel to, i.e. Brussels
2) same case for the re-entry visa I will get from US Embassy in Brussels
... all because that I am from China. Is this true? Anybody could provide any insight? Thank you very much.

Is that a US visa or Brussels visa? If you already have a H1 visa stamp why do you need one more? Do you have a single entry visa?

Both.

I do not have a H-1b stamp. I never went out the country after I get my H-1b.

Plus, I was told that even if most likely I will get both the Brussels and US visa. They both will just be 3 months 2 entry. Next time when I go on a trip after the 3 month window, I will have to do these all again. It is said that since China does not offer visa for more than 3 months, the Chinese national will get the same treatment from other countries. Is it true?

Is there any possibility that my company can do to get me a longer visa? The initial cost is not a problem, however, they do not want to do it again and again.

Thanks

So this is a Brussels visa question. This is a US immigration forum. You can get a H1 visa stamp at the Brussels US consulate which can be the multiple entry h1 visa . For this find the website/phone/ email contact for US consulate at Brussels and find out about third country national visa stamping. Alternatively you can get H1 visa stamp in Canada or mexico.

For questions on Visa to Brussels , try teh relevant forum in other sites.

In fact, my question is about both US H-1B visa and Brussel visa. They appear to me the same problem generally.

Let alone the Brussels visa, I heard a h-1bvisa stamp from Canada is also 3 months 2 entry. It does not matter to me where to get the visa, the question is how to get the multiple h-1bvisa for 2-3 years as a Chinese national. Do you know anybody who has done so? and how? Thank you very much.

I dont think there is any 3 month 2 entry restriction for H1. Maybe it is there for visitor visa.
You have to provide the link for proof of this wierd rule you cite!!!

I wish I could. I got multiple lawyers telling me that from "Reliable souces" - the H-1B for Chinese national is only good for working in US, not for traveling. Not like Indians, who will get a multiple visa through the length of their H-1B, chinese only get 3 month 2 entries. There is no official rules I can find, but it does seem to be true for all the Chinese I know.
