SURE the US passport is enough, the N-Certificate is like the Birth Certificate, as you use either one to prove citizenship to be able to get a PASSPORT :)

Check the country embassy site or consulate site of the country you are visiting. You may need Visa to visit other countries one cant visit all the counties without Visa with US passport. If you are from India and want to go to India with US passport you will need Visa for India or PIO card or OCI of India.

Thanks Ginnu, will be visiting to Canada, which I even visited with my gc, so US passport should not be a problem

Don't take your naturalization cert with you when you travel, you would not want to lose both at the same time. The passport is all you need to travel aside from travel visas.

US border agents at Canada-US border won't accept Naturalization certificate/DL (driver license) anymore unless you have enhanced DL, Nexus card, US passport card, etc. If you don't have any of those items, then US passport is a must in order to enter USA.

Naturalization certificate is thing that would help you get another US passport at US Embassy/US consulate in any other country if your passport is lost or damaged.
