Travel with interim EAD & AP

My EAD & AP Notice Date: 22nd September 2002....so far no luck.

I'm planning to go to local INS office(after 90 days) and take the interim EAD & AP for the travel purpose.

Can anyone tell me whether i can use interim EAD & AP to go out of the country?

You do not need EAD to go out of USA, you only need AP. You may get Advance Parole on walk-in basis. Check your local INS centre for details....
 
You can apply emergency AP at local INS office. However they only issue that if you have urgent situation and you have to show them doctor's letter.
 
No document or doctor letter required for taking AP at local INS. You may call the INS 800 number and confirm !

what is your service center? The only sure way to find out whether you will get interim EAD/AP or not is to try in local INS office or nearest district office.

Thanks for your replies. My service center is Vermont, but working in Missisippi state. For us the nearest INS office is in NewOrleans, Lousiana state. I'm planning to go there for the interim EAD & AP sometime in next month. We also have local INS office(in Missisippi) where we got the Finger prints done, but when we asked about the EAD & AP in local office, they asked us to go to Lousiana. I'll post my experience soon after getting interim EAD.
