Travel with AP

Hi,

I have three questions regarding Travel with Advance Parole :

I got my Advance Parole : Two copies with photographs and one without photograph. It is written on Advance Parole that " VALID FOR MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS ...."

My questions:

(1) Is the Advance Parole valid for Multiple Entries ( the way stamped H1 visa works) ?

(2) What copies to be given to whom (INS/Transportation line etc) ?

(3) Who will collect my old I-94s and where ?

1. Did you apply for Multiple entries? Your AP is for multiple entries

2. The second copy is supposedly for the transportation line (it should say so). However have copies of the first page (one with the photo) to distribute to whoever asks.

3. As usual, the airline should collect your old I94s. Don\'t forget to get a new I94 while coming in. You might be taken out for secondary inspection- don\'t be alarmed. it is routine. Check whether A# in AP matches that of 485 receipt.

(1) If the Transportation Line collects the Original, how can it be used second time ( Though I will try to provide them a copy) ?

(2) Would you please give little bit details regarding Secondary Inspection

(1) that is why i suggested that you give out photo copies of first page (with photo)
(2) Secondary inspection- done by the supervisor. In a separate room. Std questions. Your A# will be verified that is all. With the advent of new AP (with scanned photo etc.) this might not happen. Officer at POE will keep a photo copy after the AP is stamped.
