travel to Puerto Rico without H1B visa stamp?

Hi, Can I travel to Puerto Rico and return without an H1-B visa stamp on my passport? I have a valid H1-B document.
 
If you have a previous H1 then yes. Puerto Rico is not covered in the common border country rule (which is applicable for canada and mexico).
 
Thanks for the reply. I don't have a previous H1. Mine is a F1-OPT-H1 case. If I travel from within the US to Puerto Rico and return, do I still need to go through immigration??

Once I traveled to Puerto Rico, and the flights were considered domestic flights. I did not have to go through US immigration. The security on my return flight to the US however asked me casually if had a US visa (I had a valid F1 at that time), but did not check my passport. My guess is that if you have a previous visa and the new H1 approval, then you are fine. Post 911 it is better to carry all relevant travle documents even for domestic flights. Ask the airlines about the visa as well.
