travel to paris, amsterdam and transit ( few hours) via london

Me and wife are US green card holders with Indian citizenship and traveling to Paris , Amsterdam and have few hours of transit via london.
Do we need separate visas for France and Holland , what about UK ( is there a single Euro visa)
What about my kids , they are US citizens

Your kids don't need any visas. You need a Schengen visa, which is valid for a whole lot of countries in Europe, but NOT the UK or Ireland. But, since you're only transiting through London, your GC exempts you from a transit visa.
