Travel to India on AP - Please advise

Hello friends,

My family RD is July and we are planning to go to India for a month. My son and wife are planning to stay there for 6 months. What should I do if we get approval during the time.

1. Can they go for PP stamping in India with 485 approval notice ?
2. Does they need to be here phisically for the PP stamping ?

1. They cannot get the stamping in their home country
2. They can come here and they will be let in AP. Then they can go to the local INS and get the stamping. It is not necessary that stamping be done for all family members at one go.

So if I understood correctly they can get stamping done after coming to US. The time does not matter.
