Travel Outside the US - Advance Parole without I 94

I had my AOS interview in December 2007 but got an RFE.
The officer took my I-94.

I have to travel outside the US in March'08 for a week.
Will not having an I-94 create any problems?

I am planning on using my Advance Parole document, which is valid till Nov 2008.
Would appreciate a response from someone who has been through this situation before.
Thanks

What exactly was the result of your interview? what was the RFE for? Usually not having an I-94 will not create any problems.

But two things... you should not use AP if you accrued more than 180 days of illegal presence in the USA and neither should you use AP if your green card was approved.

The officer gave me an RFE as she needed additional proof of my birth.

I haven't accrued any illegal presence and my green card has not been approved yet. I mailed my RFE related documents just yesterday.
At this point I have an EAD card, an Advance Parole document and a new
H1B visa (single entry only).

My concern is twofold:
At the time of leaving the country(USA) next week, the airline will ask me for my I-94 which I don't have.
Will the above issue create a problem at the port of entry as I am planning on using my Advance Parole document to enter the US again.
