Travel ouside of US on OPT-want to reenter-urgent

Hello,

I am on OPT and got a job in Switzerland. But I dont like it here and want to return to US. My OPT is valid till december and my visa till 2007. I had already taken signature on my I-20 from the international office at my university before leaving the country.

Will there be any problems for me to re-enter?
What should I do to avoid those problems?

your I-20 is extended till the end of OPT. THe problem here is that OPT is a privilege, not a right, and you may be turned away at the point of entry because your program of study is completed. This topic has been covered many times here, you may want to read other people's posts and thoughts.

Thank you for your reply.. theres just one thing I was wondering. If i get another coutry's work permit ( in this case, Switzerland), does that end my OPT status in USA? or is my status still valid?
