If somebody travel's out of country on AP and later GC is approved while he/she is out of country then what is the process to return back and are there any issues?

There is a chance for anyone with pending I485 and travel with visa or AP that his GC get approved (very logic). That person can return to the US with the visa or AP during the validity of that document, no mailing of GC to overseas and no problem since the departure date is before the approval of the GC. On the other hand, there is a chance also for the GC to be denied, in this case, this person will not be allowed to reenter if he uses AP for travel with no visa back up, even if the AP is not expired (few cases may be allowed in on humanitarian basis if the immigration oficial feels there is a chance for MTR to be accepted)

If you go out of US with valid AP and I-485 gets approved while you are out if US. You CAN enter with valid AP. At POE you will be informed that your I-485 is approved and you will be admitted.
