Travel document

I am traveling to India on December 2006. This will be my first trip to India after getting green card.

I have green card in hand but it is not stamped on my passport (I believe this it is not needed, also I have not been advised by INS).

Could you please suggest what documents other than passport and green card I need to carry with me?

Carry your:

1. GC
2. Passport

Optional documents:

1. Your ration card
2. Your SSN card
3. Your voters registration card
4. Your high school certificate
5. Your degree certificate
6. Your US DL
7. Your apartment lease agreement or mortgage lien document
8. Your shades
9. Your car keys
10. Most importantly, your pet.

JUST KIDDING..... you will need to take only
your GC and your passport.
