Travel details confused

in 2004-2005 me and my husband traveled a lot cause our dream was to visit all western european countries so we took trips accross europe which was mostly by train and car from country to country.
Most of the time when passing from country to country we werent inspected or stopped, sometimes we were by just a look at the passport and sometimes our passports were checked via regular procedures and computers and stamped the passports.

I am sending my application next week but I am strugling with section 7 a. b. and c. cause I am not certain about exact dates and countries visited during a certain trip.
I want to be as accurate as possible but I dont remember all the details.

I remember everytime we arrived back in US we had all the details of countries visited in the customs form so my understanding is that is all recorded with dates.

My question: Is there any application or form that can be filed to get this information so I can provide accurate information in my application?

Any recommendations appreciated

I wouldn't worry much about providing details of EU countries visited. Just put the country of entry, i.e. France and say France and other EU Schengen Zone countries from-to.

I guess you could request your customs forms via FOIA but it would take several months before you could get them (if these are still available).

Month/year format is fine.

ex: France, Germany,Spain, Austria, Italy 3/04-4/04
Belgium, Switzerland, Lichtenstein,3/05-/4/05

eltoro if I request the customs forms via FOIA would that have all the details as declared in the customs forms everytime entering US as well as lets say the date I enter belgium from france when driving from frnace to belgium(Understand when passing through regularborder passport controls)?

Also when you say if they're still availble, what do you mean by that?

Thanks again for you advice.

I think customs may dispose of old customs forms after a certain time has passed. That's what I meant by available.

Neither US customs nor EU customs and immigration will have your record of entering Belgium from France. There is no immigration or customs controls between EU countries in Schengen zone (most of continental EU).

The important details are your entry/exit dates to/from the US. The details of when you crossed from one foreign country into another really don't matter and are not required. List them like Bobsmyth wrote above and you'll be fine.

Thats what I did. I visited some European countries along with my India trip. So I listed all the countries visited in just one line item under one block of time period. You don't need to list the entry and exit of other countries. What matters is when did u exit US and when did u come back to US and the list of countries that you visited during this time period away from US.

I wrote UAE once on my custom form and the officer asked me "is this even a real country?" :)

What about trip to Canada? Do they have records when you left USA and back to USA from Canada - from drive? The situation is there are several trips and forget the details. Also, recent one is this year to pay tax in Canada though not Canada citizen.

Advise?

Wow that officer is much knowledgeable to ask if it is a country...did not ask u whether it is a continent? I've seen some high school graduating kids not able to name neighboring states. Some thought Florida is a continent. :D
