Travel After Green Card

My mother's application has been approved and she has her interview next month in Peru. She might get her passport stamped and and a sealed envelope she should use to enter the US.
My question is as follow:
My mother wants to enter the US, stay for a week and then come back after 3 months.
Can I send her the green card via DHL whe it arrives so that she uses it when she comes back?
When she comes the first time, does she have to fill out an I-94 form, if yes, doe she needs to hand it when she leave after that week?
I really don't know if this is possible. Thanks.

Yes you can send her card to her via DHL. She can also re-enter using her I-551 stamp. Why risk sending her card via courier?
She does not need to fill in an I-94.

My card was posted to me, and I entered the country with it. On another thread, someone said it was ILLEGAL to post a GC out of the country, but I don't know if they really come after you.

And, you don't need an I-94, but you DO need a customs form.
