Hi guys, Here is the situation of one of my friends:
1. He started working with Company A on OPT (graduated from US univ.) that is expired on Octo 1, 2006.
2. Meanwhile his company filed for H1B petition sometimes in May or June, 2006 (I forgot the time) expecting that he will get his approval in hand by Octo 1, 2006.
3. However, till today he did not get the approval yet (he has the receipt). But he realized that his friend who has applied couple of days after his petition got the approval notice very recently.
Question:
1. Can he continue working legally until he gets the approval.
2. Its a wise choice to convert to premium processing so that he gets it through quickly.
3. Can somebody tell me what latest date Vermont processing center is approving for H1B now?
