Transit Visa in London?

Hi :

Im travelling to India via British airways sometime in feb.
I have a valid H1B stamped in my passport until next year.
Was wondering do i still need a transit visa in london ?
as anybody travelled via london in BA recently ?(after nov 03 ?)
Please let me know ..

If you have H1 visa stamped and is valid till the date to come back to US I dont think you need UK visa read below link

Is the date format in the UK Transit Visa is

dd/mm/yyyy?
