Hello Everybody!! Anybody in the same boat?????
Our i485s were transferred from CSC to LA on Aug 3 But we reside in NJ. Should the transfer be to Newark????
Does anyone know how I can get BCIS to transfer to Newark? or will they transfer the processing to Newark once bcis realized that we now reside in NJ as evidenced by our change of address which they confirmed.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

---YES
Does anyone know how I can get BCIS to transfer to Newark?
---- request the CSC that the file that got tranfred to CSC is wrong action on part of VSC becase you reside in NJ, provide the copy of I-485 filing reciept and copy of Transfer notice, name, DOB, and your A#
I suspect that when your I-485 was filed it may have CSC residence address on your I-485, if that is true then you needed to update your address Directly with VSC and on phone with NCSC and many time they dont update the address on pending I-485. if your I-485 at the time of filing had NJ address then it is mistake of VSC write a letter directly to VSC and ask them the reason why did they transfer your case to CSC

---- If you changed address then it is mistake of VSC send the copy of your address change confirmation and request that your I-485 has been transfred to wrong local USCIS and let them know the mistake.
if you want the action fast also involve your congressman in NJ and they have office that deal with immigration matter if your Congressman is Frank Palone then his office is very good in dealing with VSC

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I found out last week that the AR-11 computer system is apparently entirely separate from the rest of the INS computers. There is a 'AR-11 screen' they are supposed to pull up every time they mail some document to you. If they don't do that, they will just continue to use whatever archaic address currently in their system. (I had the chance to see my wifes file, the latest (8mo) address change was on a sticky note on the inside of the folder !!)

Keep peppering the LA office, CSC, VSC, your local office with faxes/letters notifying them of your address change and request of transfer of files.
