Now, that we have the spreadsheet to track cases available and I am sure many of us must be tracking I 140 of some day. I thought we can make a separate thread where we can post information about particular date. It will be great if someone can make this thread a sticky thread.
I am tracking I140 for May 20 2004 (still in the process of scanning all EAC number for that day, but I have got one approved case).
I know Dazzling is tracking Mar 22 2004.

Anyone tracking April 1 2004?

Suggestion comments welcome.

Hi templabor, to scan for a perticular day what are the numbers you consider as starting and ending.
I mean, for example 5th April 2004 is with EAC-04-136-XXXXX. What are the starting and ending XXXXX numbers to scan.

Running Scanning Macro (if you have DSL and a Home Router/Gateway):
1. go to http://192.168.1.1 page
2. Enter the Home Gateway home page by typing your admin password.
3. Go to status tab.
4. Press disconnect.
5. Press connect. At this time the router will get a new ip address.
6. Keep this window open.
7. Open Scanner excel. Run Scn macro by press Alt F8.
8. Give the 04-DDD (where DDD is the julien date, remember Oct 01 2003 is 001).
9. Give range. I usually give range of 200 EAC number at a time i.e. for example 51150-51350.
(note: dont get lazy and give a bigger range as USCIS might block the current IP address)
10. Run the macro.
11. A new sheet will be created with all the I140 cases between the range you supplied in step 9.
12. Copy the I140 information to another excel.
13. Delete the generated sheet from step 11.
14. Go to the window in step 6.
15. Press disconnect and then press connect again. You should be assigned a new IP.
(I usually note down the IPs just to make sure I am not reassigned the same IP).
16. Repeat steps 7 to step 15, till you complete the range i.e. from 50000 to 59999.
17. After completing the last run of the macro, copy the previously stored I140 numbers to the sheet generated in step 11.
18. Save the spreadsheet.
19. From next time you when you run the macro you dont have to give the ranges as the macro will be run for all the EAC numbers in sheet generated in Step 11.
20. Please share your information with others on the board.

Most people who have broadband from either time Warner or Earthlink will not get a different IP. I have a router and connecting and dis connection gives the same IP back. Most of the advanced providers provide IP addresses that are static for a period of time and most likely you will get the same IP. Another way is to use the proxy approach and search for proxies on the interent. Some of these proxies may be slow. To get around that, open the USCIS website in Text Only and then the tracker will also open it is text only making the tracking faster.

Hi templabor - any progress for May 20 ?

Hi Templabor,

I ran a scan for May 20th NDs earlier today and found just a couple of approvals. You'd mentioned in an earlier post that you'd noticed 3. Wanted to ask if you'd run a scan lately..My 140 had been filed based on a substitute labor. How about yours? I'm guessing you've circled Nov 16th on your calendar like I have!

thanks in advance,

Yes you are right... I am waiting for my I140 to clear and then I have to tell a lot of things to the people who are on the other side of the table and think that they are the most brilliant people on this earth.
I do my scan every third day.. and still on 3 approvals.

Hope to see some action soon.

Hi Guys,

Today I received mail from USCIS that my I140 got approved on Sep 11th. ND is May 20th. As you can see that I have been running scans for I140 for May 20th 2004, and there are only 5 approvals (including mine) out of 125 cases I m tracking.
I was thinking that my case will be an ideal choice for FOM as I filed concurrently and there is absolutely nothing special about my case i.e. its like applied for labor in Oct 2001 in EB3, got Labor cleared in March 2004, Applied for I485 and I140 with RD of May 14th (ND May 20th). All the documentation are in order (no questions on Educational qualification or ability to pay etc). Online status for my case is updated in accordance to whatever happens to my case. If its an address change, its reported at right time and the LUD changes accordingly, even when my wife's EAD was returned back because of some screw-up by US postal service, the status for that also got updated saying that the document which we mailed was returned to us by postal department.
So, the gist is that I think VSC is doing its job (how is another question)... Is FOM implementd? No, from my I140 atleast that is clear.
Does PD of labor cert has any effect on your case - I think Yes. What effect? We dont know cause we dont track that.

Anyway, I am still waiting for Nov 16th 2004 :)

Hi,

Any idea on processing times at NSC?

I-140 & I-485 - filed on april 22 2004
FP on Sept 3 2004
Status changed on Sept 9 2004 that processing has resumed.

Any way to track the status using the Excel sheet?

Can someone please send me the excel sheet to track the status?

Thanks for any help!
